Influence of Organic Manure and Inorganic Fertilizer on Soil Health, Growth and Yield of Cowpea (Vigna unguiculata L.) Var. Gomati

An experiment was conducted on “Influence of Organic Manure and Inorganic Fertilizer Soil Health, Growth Yield Cowpea (Vigna unguiculata L.) var. Gomati.” during kharif season 2022-23 at the research farm Department soil science agricultural chemistry, NAINI, SHUATS, Prayagraj. The design applied RBD having three levels poultry-manure @ 0%,50 % 100% h-1 NPK 0, 50and 100%. variety cowpea Gomati taken for trial. pore space, water holding capacity, organic carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus potassium were recorded maximum in T9 [NPK + poultry manure ha-1] respectively. In post samples fertilizer observations resulted significant increase depth 0-15 cm. treatment highest pod yield 71.58 q ha-1 obtained. Use crop analysing effect physical as well chemical properties soil. It also revealed that application with manures excellent source fertilization than fertilizers nutrients supply.
